I really wish I was talking about the original shades of grey book. Reality is I’m talking about my hair. My shades of grey have decided to make an appearance at full force.

Hi All!! Omg, I have been working super hard these past months. As I had posted before I started a new job at a previous work place. I like it there. I have made many new friends and remained friends with my oldies. I have been on a whirlwind with my new obsession. My recent obsession is Traveler notebooks, Planners, stickers and dashboards!! If you don't know what that is you have to look it up. Organize your life in such a pretty way. Right now though I am sad because I ordered a notebook and it was delivered at wrong location someone has my notebook and hasn't turned it in to me or delivered it. I always make sure to return wrong delivered mail to its owner. I really hope whoever has my stuff feels the same way. I will post pics soon of some of my dashboards I've created. I have many plans for my planners. hee hee!!
I really want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! XOXO- Izzy 💜 Hello Sweets!!
It's almost the weekend, cant believe it. No, I'm not complaining, I'll take that anytime. Well as you may have seen in the title of my post today. New Job, New Beginnings. Yes I have found a new job finally after searching a few moths. Thank you Baby Jesus! As you all know with a new job comes new beginnings, new co-workers and new rules. With that said what do you do about telling your new crew about your Type 1 Diabetes, your glucagon, your stash of glucose tablets and your emergency phone numbers? Well I will say I have been lucky to say that I am working for a practice that knows me from previously working for them and have a few coworkers that follow me on my journey via social media and know my deal with dealing with Type 1 Diabetes. That didn't stop me there I had to do a refresher course with the ones who already know I am diabetic and gave info to the ones who just found out as I was hired on. I had no problem letting my coworkers know about my Diabetes. I made sure they knew that I carry an insulin pump and that I have a glucose meter on hand to check my glucose. My insulin pump was the Hot Topic of the conversation. How does it work? How is the pump connected to your body? Does it hurt? How many times do you check your blood sugar? My favorite, Do we have to keep all sweets away from you? I made sure to explain to every one please don't keep sweets away from me and please don't judge me for eating them too. I am okay to eat all foods and all sweets as long as I Bolus for each carb I consume. Carb counting??? That was another topic to explain. I love it though, I love to provide knowledge of everyday living with Type 1 Diabetes. I am my own show and tell. =) ~💜~ Love, Izzy Hello Friends!
I just wanted to comment on nutrition facts and restaurants, local food locations. Just recent I stopped by a new local place. I wanted to purchase a drink and asked the register assistant if they had info on all their drinks. The lady at the register looked at me and said the drinks are self explanatory. I said no they are not I told her I didn't mean to be difficult I just had to know the carbs in their drinks and pastries to administer my insulin correctly. Honestly I think they should make it a law before anyone opens an eatery, coffee shop or any place to provide nutrition facts. People need to know. What are your thoughts on this matter?? Love, Izzy💜 Hello And Welcome!!!
